Henstridge Pump Track & Skatepark
Located in the village of Henstridge near Yeovil
The pump track is a small track which been designed to be enjoyed by all abilities from beginners to elite riders on all bikes.
The skatepark is made up of skatelite ramps featuring three ramps at each end of the area, one quarter-pipe ramp flanked by two roll-in ramps.

Pevlings Farm Riding and Livery Stables
Established in 1985 our aim at this riding school has always been to provide a safe, friendly and informal stables where you can learn to ride and look after a horse/pony.
We cater for all ages and a variety of abilities. Beginners are welcome. We offer lessons in groups or individually on our carefully selected horses and ponies.
During the school holidays we hold ‘Fun Days’. These are on set days and run from 11-3pm. These days are most suitable for beginner and novice riders (ages 5-12 years) and combine a riding lesson and pony care sessions. Riders will need to bring a packed lunch and will take home a rosette.

Crazy Monsters
Crazy Monsters is North Dorset’s largest indoor soft play area so you can let your little monsters go wild! We are a RoSPA inspected location and always have a qualified first aider on site so you can be safe in the knowledge that your children are fully catered for. We have an in house restaurant with an extensive healthy option menu as well as all your child’s favorites prepared by our fully qualified chefs.
Whilst your child is enjoying themselves we have plenty of comfy seating on our amazing first floor viewing zone enabling you to look directly in to the climbing structure to watch your little monsters!

Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park
One of the very last Heavy Horse Centres left in Great Britain. Recognised as a both a multi award-winning day out and conservation farm home to the Shire, Clydesdale, Suffolk Punch, Percheron and Ardennes.
We invite visitors of ALL ages to escape to the enchanting depths of Dorset and unravel the history of the faithful Heavy Horse which powered man for generations. Whether you are a family group, grandparent or young couple join us for a unique and educational experience.

Oak Fair – Annually in August
The Oak Fair is a celebration of the countryside, conservation, woodland, timber, traditional craft, rural history and Dorset.
We have over 200 exhibitors made up of stalls selling everything from homeware & jewellery to entire sheds and wood burning stoves, a host of traditional craft demonstrations, big machinery shows, conservation charities and an array of local foodies with a beer tent, cider tent and gin bar!
In our arenas we hold big displays including The British Heavy Horse Logger’s team and falconry and there are lots of hands on activities including pole climbing, archery and tree climbing to get involved in.
​There is also a special free children’s area which includes entertainment and workshops.
