Stourton Caundle Golf Society Monthly Report – November 2022

This month brought a bright day after much rain in the preceding days and weeks. The ground was soft and the greens in good condition, so there were some good scores recorded (and some bad ones!). We played the front 9 holes as usual, and the Des Austen award went to the lowest score.

Dan Leney was our winner this month, with 20 points. It must be the beard what won it.

Team winners were the Young Codgers, with 41 points. Well done to Jim Ackland, Dan Leney and Vic Christopher

The Des Austen challenge was won by Pete Woodman, who looks ridiculously happy to have won the cup this month with the lowest score on the day, just 6 points.
